Marcus Bruno

I am a Editor/filmmaker graduate of the Academy of Arts College with a B.A. in Film and Video Production. Editing film and video has become a passion and dream come true for me. As a teenager, I worked as a film processor and slideshow production assistant. In Junior College I was involved in many studio productions as a camera operator, switcher, and director. While working in the on-site TV station (channel 36 KCCC) my love of editing began. After pursuing my passion at the Academy of Art, I began work on many projects ranging from PBS specials to Rock concerts. Currently I have been working mostly with motorcycle cycle community and independent film makers but will gladly take on anything that comes my way!

To see some of the most recent projects I’ve edited please see the “on you tube” page.

Johnny Moreno

Raised in a small agricultural town known for its past time popular canned vegetable, Lindsay Olives, in Lindsay California, Johnny Moreno left to attend San Francisco State University’s “Broadcast Electronic Communications Arts” program where he majored in Directing for Television and Television Production.

In 2000 he was involved with Professor Herbet Zettl’s creation of the documentary “Impressions”, a short promotional video of the “Broadcast Electronic Communications Arts” department that was produced by fellow graduate students and professors.

After graduation, he worked at the first technology television network, “techtv” in San Francisco California, where he visually produced magazine segment reviews on the latest technology software and digital products for entertainment.

From 2003 to 2005, he worked at Edelman Productions for the History Channel show called, “From Tactical to Practical with Hunter Ellis” as an Assistant and 2nd Camera operator. He also continued the same profession of responsibilities for the production of “Travel Gear” and “Corvette and Mustang: Reborn” for the Discovery Channel at Dan Sexton Media in addition to being the Production Coordinator.

Since then, Johnny Moreno has involved himself as a Show Producer and Camera Operator in the field for KRON’s Latin Eyes with host Laura Bustamante in Beijing China, which the show was nominated for its first local Emmy Awards; Field Producer for Water Buffalo Films’ “I Ride”, a documentary about the most dangerous motorcycle club band in the world; and has single handedly created a five minute short film called El Coqueto (The Flirt) as a quick film example, which a rough cut can be seen circulating on YouTube.

Today he is still exploring and helping others to make their stories and ideas a film reality while currently looking forward to directing a low budget feature film called “Gaby and Lucia” in San Francisco followed by “No Escuches Beni (Don’t Listen to Benny)” by the end of 2009.
